Gino’s guitar is finished!

The guitar was assembled and setup for low-medium action and I spent considerable time working on the intonation. The result is awesome: the guitar rings beautifully with a very articulate and somewhat bright tone. It is not as dry sounding as Maple but very balanced with great sustain. The design goals are achieved so I hope Gino will really enjoy the guitar!

A most exciting feeling is playing a new guitar that you just created for the first time!

We Have Been Busy!

The Routens have been very busy recently; an amazing Jars of Clay concert and VIP meeting, a superb house concert featuring Muriel Anderson, the amazing and award-winning finger-style guitarist and harp player, and much more to come.

Here are a couple of pictures from the two concerts, and if you know of any cool or exciting concerts/shows in the Tampa Bay area, please let us know in the comments below!
